India, June 2 -- In a significant structural change for Australian T20 franchise cricket, Melbourne's two Big Bash League (BBL) rivals, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades, are reportedly planning to combine into a single franchise. Sen Cricket reports that plans to combine Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades into a single "super" Victorian club in a major reworking of the Big Bash League system were presented to Cricket Victoria employees on Tuesday afternoon.
