India, Aug. 17 -- Batwara 1947 saw a noticeable drop in box office collections on Sunday, after a better start on the previous days. The Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer was able to pull in the crowds in the beginning, but by the third day its numbers took a noticeable hit, like pretty suddenly. Even with that dip, the film has wrapped up its opening weekend with a total net collection of around Rs 26.50 crore. The weekend total looks like a decent beginning, but now it really has to stay steady through the weekdays. These upcoming days will end up being kinda decisive for whether Batwara 1947 can keep the momentum going and continue adding more to its overall box office haul.
