India, Aug. 25 -- 'Batwara 1947' is now kind of struggling to keep that box office momentum going; even with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the lead, it has managed only Rs 35 lakhs on its second Monday. After 11 days in theaters, the historical drama is seeing a pretty clear slide in collections. In the opening days, the film had picked up a decent response, but it has not held on to the same pace once the second week started. The most recent Monday figures suggest that audience curiosity has thinned out, most noticeably on weekdays.
