India, Sept. 23 -- Branch activities for the customers of banks in India must be planned with care since the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) is calling for a three-day strike across India from September 28 to September 30, 2026. UFBU is comprised of seven big banks unions and claims to represent almost 90% of officers and employees in the banks. An advisory from SBI has been issued to its customers in this regard.

Customers may get an extra banking day before a proposed three-day nationwide bank strike from September 28 to 30, 2026.
