India, April 15 -- Banks across several parts of India will remain closed on Wednesday because multiple regional festivals will take place on April 15 2026, which include Bohag Bihu, Bengali New Year (Poila Baisakh), Vishu, and Himachal Day. Many states continue their regular banking operations because this day does not serve as a national holiday.
