India, July 2 -- Customers planning to visit bank branches in July 2026 should check the holiday calendar before heading out. Banks across India will remain closed for a total of 12 days during the month due to Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays, and several regional festivals and state-specific holidays.

While nationwide holidays will apply across all states, several closures will be limited to specific cities and regions. Customers in Delhi, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, West Bengal and other states are advised to verify the applicable holiday schedule before visiting their bank branch.
