India, June 23 -- Director Chidambaram's psychological thriller Balan: The Boy went through its first real box office test on Monday after a pretty strong opening weekend. Like, it was expected that the numbers would slip once the work week began, and film still managed to bring in Rs.1.15 crore domestically on its fourth day. Even though the footfalls got slower in theatres, overall the movie is continuing to do well. Because of that firm weekend run, Balan: The Boy has now pushed its worldwide gross collection to Rs.17.53 crore in just four days, and the pace at the box office is staying steady.
