India, Sept. 15 -- Australia and Zimbabwe will begin their three-match ODI series on Tuesday, September 15, with the opening game scheduled at Harare Sports Club. The match will start at 1 PM IST, with Zimbabwe looking to build on a strong run at home after beating Bangladesh 2-1 in an ODI series in July. Sikandar Raza will lead the hosts in place of regular skipper Richard Ngarava, who is sidelined with a lower-back injury. Zimbabwe have also brought experienced campaigners Brendan Taylor and Graeme Cremer back into the squad. They will enter the contest with some confidence after reaching the final of the recent T20I tri-series involving Namibia and South Africa, although they lost the decider to South Africa by 48 runs.
