India, Aug. 14 -- Steven Smith's name has been etched into another prestigious Test cricket record during the Australia vs Bangladesh 1st Test at Marrara Stadium, Darwin. While Australia were bowled out for 198 in their first innings, Smith stood tall with a fighting 71 off 109 balls, smashing seven fours and one six. But the Australian veteran's contribution was not limited to his batting, as he also reached 218 Test catches, drawing level with England's Joe Root for the most catches by a non-wicketkeeper.
