India, Sept. 25 -- Athens Building Collapse Today: This afternoon, a gas explosion caused a building collapse in a popular tourist district of Athens, injuring at least 3. While cars, shops and houses also suffered damage. A probe has been launched into the incident.

Athens Building Collapse Today: What Happened in Plaka?

Shortly after 7:30 A.M. local time, an explosion took place on Lysikratous Street in Plaka, close to Vasilissis Amalias Avenue and facing the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
