India, Sept. 30 -- India's Pradhyumna Singh Rathod has booked his place in the Men's Kayak Single final at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Rathod clocked 137.74 seconds to finish 11th in Wednesday's semifinal, but with only one athlete per National Olympic Committee allowed to qualify for the final, his position among eligible competitors moved up to seventh. That was enough to secure his spot in the medal round. His compatriot Hitesh Kewat finished 14th with a time of 184.89 seconds and missed out on qualification.
