India, Sept. 25 -- India will have Sindhushree Ganesha and Baranica Elangovan in the women's pole vault final at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on September 25. The medal event is scheduled for 4:33 PM IST and features two Indian athletes who have repeatedly pushed each other while competing for the national record. Sindhushree currently holds the outdoor mark at 4.25m, which she cleared at the National Inter-State Championships in June with a borrowed pole.
