India, Sept. 27 -- Anahat Singh made history by winning India's first-ever women's singles silver medal in squash at the Asian Games, although her bid for gold ended against defending champion Sivasangari Subramaniam on Sunday. The Malaysian once again proved a difficult opponent for the Indian teenager, having beaten her 11-4, 11-4 at the London Squash Classic just a couple of weeks earlier. Sivasangari carried that advantage into the Asian Games final, keeping Anahat under pressure from the outset and taking the opening two games by identical 11-4 margins.
