India, Sept. 27 -- Kurash will bring another dose of combat-sport action for India at the Asian Games 2026 on September 27, with Sangita Balhara, Bharti and Yash Kumar Chauhan among the Indians beginning their campaigns in Aichi-Nagoya.

Sangita and Bharti will compete in the women's -57kg category, while Yash Kumar Chauhan and Vishal are entered in the men's +90kg event. India has already made its mark in Kurash at the Asian Games, winning two medals in the sport's 2018 debut through Pincky Balhara and Malaprabha Jadhav. The 2023 edition, however, ended without an Indian Kurash medal.
