India, Sept. 25 -- The Indian contingent enters another busy day at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, with medal events spread across athletics, shooting, fencing, canoe sprint, equestrian, squash, swimming, table tennis and weightlifting on Friday, September 25.

India ended September 24 with five medals, taking its overall tally to 17 medals, one gold, seven silver and nine bronze. The women's cricket team has India's only gold so far.

Thursday brought India's first athletics medals of the Games, with Seema winning bronze in the women's 10,000m and the mixed 4x400m relay team taking silver.
