India, Sept. 21 -- India will begin a packed second day at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya on September 21, with athletes competing across shooting, swimming, soft tennis, MMA, hockey, kabaddi, badminton, table tennis, boxing and wushu. India has eight medal events on the schedule, with the shooting range set to provide some of the earliest opportunities to add to the medal tally.

Rudrankksh Patil, Parth Mane and Himanshu Dhillon will lead India's shooting challenge in the men's 10m air rifle, while Suchika Tariyal will compete in the women's traditional 60kg MMA semifinal. India will also begin its men's badminton and kabaddi campaigns, while the women's hockey team faces Indonesia.
