India, Sept. 19 -- Badminton action at the Asian Games 2026 begins on September 20, with India competing in the women's team events at the Ichinomiya City Municipal Gymnasium in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

The team competitions will be played in a straight knockout format, meaning a defeat at any stage ends a team's campaign. India's women will begin against Kazakhstan in the Round of 16 on September 20, while the men will face Bangladesh in their opening match on September 21. However, the players will play their own individual battles as well after the conclusion of the team events.
