India, Sept. 27 -- Indian weightlifter Harjinder Kaur will compete in the women's 69kg category at the Asian Games 2026 as she heads into the competition after an impressive summer campaign that saw her win silver at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Harjinder produced a career-best 227kg total there, lifting 101kg in the snatch and 126kg in the clean and jerk. She also completed all six of her attempts successfully, underlining her consistency and composure on the big stage.
