India, Sept. 25 -- India will have two athletes in the men's hammer throw final at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with Damneet Singh and Praveen Kumar scheduled to compete on September 25. The pair booked their places after strong performances at the National Inter-State Athletics Championships earlier this year, where they finished first and second respectively. Damneet, the 26-year-old Punjab thrower backed by the Reliance Foundation, has enjoyed a breakthrough season after crossing the 70m mark for the first time in March.
