India, Oct. 2 -- India's Priya Malik is set for a major test in the women's freestyle 76kg category at the Asian Games 2026, where she will face Kyrgyzstan's Aiperi Medet Kyzy in the Round of 16. The 22-year-old Indian wrestler comes into the competition with an impressive resume, including a World U20 title, a senior Asian Championships bronze and gold at the 2026 Asian Beach Games. Having also impressed at the Asian Games selection trials in Delhi, Malik will look to carry that momentum into what promises to be a demanding opening bout in Nagoya.
