India, June 10 -- The countdown to the 2026 Asian Games is well underway, and the tournament is already beginning to generate plenty of excitement. Scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 4 across Japan's Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya, the Games will return to the traditional four-year cycle while placing a major focus on sustainability and environmentally conscious initiatives.

Amid the buildup, Pakistan has unveiled its 15-player cricket squad for the competition. Sahibzada Farhan will lead the side, with Abdul Samad appointed as vice-captain. The squad also features several fresh faces, including Akif Javed, Ali Raza, Maaz Sadaqat, and Saad Masood, all of whom are still awaiting their senior T20I debuts for Pakistan.
