India, Aug. 27 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have raised serious concerns regarding the untested pitch conditions and makeshift venue arrangements at Korogi Sports Park ahead of the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. Following complaints regarding pitch quality at the converted baseball stadium and cramped hotel rooms, the Asian Cricket Council has ordered a special inspection delegation to travel to Nisshin. With both men's and women's cricket tournaments scheduled next month, Asian cricket administrators are working quickly to address player safety and accommodation issues.
