India, Aug. 7 -- Malayalam film Thudakkam has finally hit theatres today, August 7. It introduces a new face to the industry. The Jude Anthany Joseph directorial marks the acting debut of Vismaya Mohanlal, daughter of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

While Vismaya belongs to one of Indian cinema's most celebrated film families, she has taken a different route to the silver screen. Before stepping in front of the camera, she explored writing, theatre and martial arts.
