India, Aug. 5 -- Salad and Go, the once-fast-growing drive-thru salad chain founded in Gilbert, Arizona, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and permanently closed all of its remaining 70 locations, bringing a 13-year run to an abrupt end.

The Phoenix-based company filed voluntary petitions in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, with final service across all locations concluding on Wednesday, 5th August, according to Arizona-based media outlets.
