India, Aug. 22 -- Digital payments have become so routine that even a brief disruption can leave shoppers wondering whether the problem is with their bank, card or payment wallet. Apple Pay users are reporting problems across payments, purchases and funds transfers, with payments accounting for 51% of the reported issues, purchases 32%, and funds transfers 10%.

Apple Pay has faced significant disruptions in recent weeks. A major incident on July 31 and August 1 affected Apple Pay and Apple Cash functions, while more recent reports have included isolated problems from users in countries such as the US, UAE and Singapore.
