India, Sept. 10 -- Apple has finally entered the foldable smartphone race, but it is not treating the iPhone Duo as just another phone with a folding screen. Unveiled at the company's September 9 "Surprise and Shine" event, the iPhone Duo combines a passport-style design with a larger inner display, a second outer screen and software built specifically around the foldable form factor. The launch also marks a major product shift for Apple under new CEO John Ternus.

The iPhone Duo opens into a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display and uses a 5.4-inch screen when folded. Apple has paired the hardware with its new A20 Pro chip, a dual 48-megapixel rear camera system and iOS 27 features designed to make multitasking easier. The phone will also su...
