India, June 20 -- Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max might get costlier across the globe after Tim Cook's recent announcement about Apple's new advanced A20 Pro chipset.

While the iPhone 18 series is still months away from launch, experts believe that rising component costs, memory prices and Apple's shift to a more advanced chip technology could push the prices of the new flagship phones higher than the current iPhone 17 lineup.

The biggest increase is expected for the premium iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models, which could become Apple's most expensive mainstream iPhones yet in India.
