India, Sept. 27 -- India's Ancy Sojan and Shaili Singh will headline the women's long jump final at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 on September 27. Sojan enters the contest as the national record holder after producing a 6.88m jump in June, breaking Anju Bobby George's long-standing mark. She also won the Indian Athletics Series Final recently with a 6.76m effort, while Shaili Singh arrives with a personal best of 6.76m and finished second behind Sojan in the domestic final after recording 6.65m.
