India, Aug. 25 -- Anaya Bangar has received clearance from Cricket Australia to resume competitive cricket in Australia. The governing body approved her participation in women's Premier Cricket across all Australian states and territories.

The decision allows the 25-year-old cricketer to return to the field after undergoing gender affirming surgery. According to a report by The Indian Express, the clearance also opens a potential pathway for her inclusion in the Women's Big Bash League from March 2027.
