India, Nov. 6 -- Amul Price Hike Ahead of Diwali: Diwali is just around the corner, and families across India are preparing to make sweets and buy essential groceries. But customers planning to stock up on Amul ghee and butter may have to rethink budgets. The dairy giant has increased the prices of both products from November 2, making some popular packs significantly more expensive.

What's adding to the concern is that several markets have also reported a shortage of Amul ghee, particularly cow ghee. Consumers are now facing a double problem: higher prices and difficulty finding certain products.
