India, Sept. 12 -- A theft case involving Ameesha Patel's family has come to light in Mumbai. Gold and diamond jewellery worth around Rs 5 lakh has reportedly gone missing from her parents' home. The residence is located in the Churchgate area and the case has now led to the arrest of a domestic helper.

The investigation is currently underway, with the police trying to recover the missing jewellery and piece together what happened at the Patel family residence.
