India, July 2 -- Amarnath Yatra 2026 Opening Date: The annual Amarnath Yatra 2026, one of Hinduism's most sacred pilgrimages, is set to begin on July 3 and conclude on August 28, giving devotees 57 days to visit the holy cave shrine of Lord Shiva in Jammu and Kashmir. Every year, lakhs of pilgrims from across India undertake this spiritual journey to witness the naturally formed ice Shivling located at an altitude of nearly 3,888 metres (12,756 feet).
