India, July 3 -- Iran is preparing for one of the biggest state funerals in its modern history as millions of mourners and foreign delegations gather to pay tribute to former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. T

he six-day funeral, scheduled from July 4 to July 9, will be attended by representatives from around 100 countries, including PMs, ministers, parliamentary leaders, special envoys and religious figures.

Countries including Pakistan, India, China, Russia, Georgia and Tajikistan have confirmed their participation, while several other international delegations are also expected to arrive in Tehran.
