India, Sept. 24 -- Alexandra Eala will kick off her Singapore Open 2026 campaign against Russia's Tatiana Prozorova in the Round of 16 on Thursday, September 24 at the OCBC Arena in Singapore.

Eala enters the WTA 500 tournament as the No. 3 seed and received a first-round bye, while Prozorova reached the last 16 after beating Belgium's Sofia Costoulas in three sets.

Eala returns to competitive action for the first time since her run at the US Open 2026, where she reached the third round before losing a close three-set battle against American Iva Jovic.
