India, May 25 -- Tamil Nadu Assembly Latest News: On Monday, the AIADMK suffered a massive setback as 3 MLAs resigned from the party and joined Vijay-led Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party in Tamil Nadu due to the escalation of internal feud. The MLAs who resigned and quit were from the rebel CV Shanmugam camp, who had voted for the TVK's crucial floor test.

The AIADMK is facing a political crisis in Tamil Nadu as the 3 MLAs of the AIADMK party resigned, leading the party's strength in the Assembly to be reduced to 44 from 47.
