India, Aug. 11 -- SS Rajamouli's upcoming film Varanasi has already generated plenty of curiosity because of its scale, cast and international shoot. Now, the filmmaker's comments about the film's IMAX presentation have added another talking point.

While discussing the footage captured around Kilimanjaro and the Maasai Mara, Rajamouli referred to the 1.43:1 IMAX frame and described the challenge of capturing the enormous African landscapes. According to the filmmaker, even the expansive frame seemed to struggle to contain the scale of what his team had captured.
