AAP accuses BJP of misusing ED after arrest of Goa co-incharge Deepak Singla
India, May 18 -- The arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa Co-incharge Deepak Singla by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday has sparked a fierce political row between the AAP and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with both parties accusing each other of corruption and political vendetta ahead of the Goa Assembly elections.
The ED carried out raids at several locations in Delhi and Goa before taking Singla into custody. Following the action, AAP leaders alleged that central investigative agencies were being used by the BJP-led central government to target opposition leaders and weaken rival parties before important elections.
