India, June 9 -- A580 East Lancashire traffic in Greater Manchester has returned to normal after a major overnight closure caused by a fatal crash near Haydock.
The incident led to significant disruption for motorists travelling between Greater Manchester and Merseyside, with emergency services closing parts of the major route for several hours while investigations took place.
Police confirmed that a motorcyclist died following a collision involving a lorry on Monday night. The tragedy triggered a large emergency response and resulted in the arrest of two men as detectives began investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
