India, June 27 -- Drivers using the A1 (M) are being advised to plan as National Highways continues overnight lane closures and roadworks across several sections of the motorway. Ongoing maintenance, resurfacing projects, bridge repairs and safety improvement schemes are affecting parts of Yorkshire, Hertfordshire, and the North East.

Temporary speed limits, signed diversion routes and occasional carriageway closures are expected over the coming days. While most works take place overnight to reduce disruption, motorists should still allow extra travel time.
