The first year at Hillman College ends with almost everyone's life getting messier. Deborah Wayne (Maleah Joi Moon) enters the finale caught between her unresolved feelings for Shaquille (Cornell Young IV) and her growing connection with Ellington (Vincent Jamal Hooper). Hazel (Kennedi Reece) is forced to confront a secret she has been hiding all year. Amir (Jordan Aaron Hall) and Jalen (Elijah J. Roberts) take their relationship in an unexpected direction.
