India, Sept. 27 -- The 8th Pay Commission is continuing its consultations with central government employees, pensioners and their representatives as it works on recommendations for future pay and pension revisions.

The Commission will hold its next meetings in Bengaluru on October 7 and 8, 2026, followed by meetings in Mumbai on October 22 and 23. Employee organisations are expected to raise issues concerning salary revision, allowances, inflation and pension benefits.
