India, Aug. 26 -- 8th Pay Commission Latest News: The 8th Pay Commission is continuing its nationwide consultation exercise with central government employees, pensioners, unions and other stakeholders. The commission has scheduled meetings in several cities between August and October 2026 to gather views and suggestions on issues related to pay, allowances, pensions and service conditions. The latest official update has also added Bengaluru to the consultation schedule, extending the commission's planned visits into October.
