India, Oct. 28 -- The 8th Pay Commission has not yet completed its exercise relating to review of pay, allowances, pension and service conditions for Central Government servants and pensioners. Though there has not yet been any announcement regarding revised pay scales, one of the recent administrative exercises conducted relating to the Central Government Employees' Group Insurance Scheme (CGEGIS) reflects the information collection process being undertaken by the Commission before it finalizes its recommendations.
