India, April 30 -- The 8th Central Pay Commission has extended the deadline for submitting memoranda and representations to May 31, moving it from the earlier date of April 30. This update was officially announced on Wednesday, April 29.

In a notice shared on its website, the Commission confirmed that the new last date for sending responses is May 31 (Sunday). It also made it clear that all submissions must be done only through the official online portal. "All submissions are to be made only through the link specified. Paper-based memoranda, hard copies, PDF submissions, or emails are not being considered or entertained by the Commission," the statement said.
