India, Sept. 22 -- The 72nd National Film Awards 2026 winners list is here, with Article 370 taking home the Best Feature Film honour and some of Indian cinema's biggest names being recognised for their performances and filmmaking.

Kartik Aaryan and Mammootty shared the Best Actor award for Chandu Champion and Bramayugam, respectively, while Yami Gautam won Best Actress for Article 370. Rajkumar Periasamy was named Best Director for Amaran.

The awards recognise films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification between January 1 and December 31, 2024. The feature-film jury was headed by Malayalam filmmaker Jayaraj.
