India, June 19 -- After years of "aircraft drama" and pandemic-induced setbacks, Qantas has finally locked in a firm launch date for the long-awaited Project Sunrise: nonstop flights between Sydney and London. Starting in October 2027, the airline will officially conquer the "final frontier" of long-haul aviation, slashing travel time by up to four hours and eliminating the traditional stopovers on the iconic "Kangaroo Route."
