India, June 24 -- The NBA Finals may be over, but the spotlight has quickly shifted to the next wave of talent. Round 1 of the 2026 NBA Draft wrapped up Wednesday morning in India, and the first night delivered plenty to talk about. This class entered the draft with massive expectations, with many viewing it as the deepest since 2003, when LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all entered the league. Much of that excitement centered around AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cam Boozer, whose star power helped fuel months of anticipation around the top of the board.
