India, June 17 -- India Kawasaki Motors has officially launched the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.76 lakh. The announcement comes shortly after reports suggested that the motorcycle could be discontinued due to a lack of E20 fuel compliance and modest sales performance.

The latest update puts those rumours to rest. While the changes are minimal, the new model now meets E20 fuel standards and carries a price increase of Rs 10,000 over the previous version.
