India, Aug. 16 -- Asking what India could become if women had the freedom and opportunity to pursue their ambitions, Amruta Fadnavis on Monday called for a stronger ecosystem for women to lead, build businesses and drive change at both the grassroots and institutional levels. Speaking on the future of women in leadership at the We Women Want Conclave 2026, organised by NewsX and The Sunday Guardian Foundation, Fadnavis said women's leadership was not new but had long been exercised within homes, where women managed finances, resources and families without receiving formal recognition for those skills.
