India, Aug. 29 -- Real Madrid Club de Futbol manager Jose Mourinho has strongly criticized the voting process for the Ballon d'Or, insisting that the award must go to the best individual footballer in the world rather than players who simply won tournament trophies. Speaking to reporters in Madrid on Saturday, the Portuguese coach argued that winning the UEFA Champions League or the World Cup should not decide the prize, suggesting sarcastically that Paris Saint-Germain Football Club manager Luis Enrique should receive the award if team silverware is the main criterion.
